Saatchi Art is thrilled to launch the leading independent artist showcase, The Other Art Fair, in East London from 19–22 March. Hosted at the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, the fair will present 140 talented emerging and independent artists along a unique and immersive program of features. The Fair showcases works hand-picked by a Selection Committee of art world experts. These fair exhibitors were selected by Joe Kennedy, Founder of Unit Gallery; Kaia Charles, Cultural Projects Commissioner and Curator; Tabish Khan, Art Critic; and Rebecca Wilson, Chief Curator and VP, Art Advisory at Saatchi Art.

Following an initial commission from a US based family; the Mulveys, currently based in the USA, who’s grandmother immigrated from Co. Mayo in the 1920s, this initial commission has led to a larger body of work to be exhibited in Irelands Museum of the Great Hunger at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, CT, USA.
Straight Out of Ireland looks to showcase the incredible work of eighteen Irish artists and ten American artists inspired by contemporary Ireland. All the work displayed highlights the stylish, modern aesthetic while embracing the soul of this amazing country. The beneficiary of the event is the Irish Immigration Center of Greater Philadelphia.
Our host venue, Sacred Heart Academy (480 South Bryn Mawr Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA), has opened its beautiful mansion to the exhibit and serves as the perfect backdrop to display the work, meet artists, offer small group chats with the artists and other Irish talent, and serve some delicious refreshments for visitors. The event kicks off with a VIP reception on Friday evening followed by two public open days. Watch this space for more details!

For the summer of 2019 Saatchi Art is launching their newest fair from 4-7 July at Handyside Canopy, Kings Cross to present more incredible independent and emerging artists over four days.
The Other Art Fair will continue to delight and inspire art lovers with a tightly curated and distinctive programme of fair features that will create a platform for the 'unexpected' at the fair.

Sweeney’s fine paintings will be exhibited with SO Fine Art Gallery, in the national contemporary art fair, VUE. The stunning fair opens this November 1st in the prestigious Royal Hibernian Academy, Ely Place, in Dublin, Ireland. As Aidan Dunne of the Irish Times says, VUE is “a fantastic event, an opportunity to breeze through representative selections from most Irish contemporary art galleries, not alone the Dublin ones.” VUE brings together several contemporary art galleries showcasing work by leading Irish and international artists.
