In my enchanting collection of small textured paintings, "Latitude of Home" stands as a mesmerising tribute to the tales carried within the weathered walls of an old derelict house, in the Black Valley of Kerry, Ireland.

Drenched in the colours of moss-covered stones and vibrant rust, this small masterpiece captures the heart and soul of a bygone era. I have created a textured assemblage that transports viewers to a time when laughter echoed through once-hospitable doorways and promises were woven into the very fabric of the crumbling plaster.

Each delicate stroke unveils the layers of history that reside within the crumbling facade. I have tried to bring to life the intricacies of the worn-out beams, the vacant windows all standing in solitary resilience amidst the ever-changing Irish landscape.
